What’s up Doc?

Bugs Bunny made this catchphrase popular from the Bugs Bunny cartoons and comic strips that started in the late 1930s. The catchphrase itself was first used by Bugs Bunny in 1940, written by director Tex Avery, who said that it was a common expression from his native Texas. By the 1950s, it was a well-established catchphrase throughout America.
