Vuvuzela

A vuvuzela is the large, colourful plastic trumpet that sounds like a foghorn, traditionally blown by South African soccer fans. It was introduced to the world at the Soccer World Cup that was held in South Africa in 2010 and then promptly banned by FIFA in the rest of the soccer world. Vuvuzela in the Zulu language means make a noise.
