Tosser

Although tosser derives from the vulgar slang toss or toss off meaning to masturbate, and therefore dates back to the early 18th century, the word tosser was revived in the UK during the 1970s and now enjoys a less vulgar meaning in the sense of a weak, ineffectual person. In this way, tosser is similar to wanker.
