Sitter

An easily accomplished task, usually in a sporting context i.e. an easy catch, shot, etc dates from the late 19th century in the first instance for a catch in cricket and thereafter applied to many different sports. It is thought to derive from hunting i.e. an easy target like a sitting duck.
