Point Percy at the porcelain

Origin of: Point Percy at the porcelain

Point Percy at the porcelain

Australian slang for urinate, porcelain being the lavatory bowl and Percy the penis. It was coined by Barry Humphries for the Barry McKenzie comic strip in the British magazine Private Eye during the 1970s. Most Australians disassociate themselves from what they call this pseudo-Australian slang created specifically for the British magazine. Another version of this is ‘aim Archie at the Armitage’ (Armitage being the name of a sanitary ware manufacturer).
