Napoo

British army slang for 'enough', 'no more', or often used to describe something that is finished and no longer of any use. It is a corruption of the French phrase 'il n'y a plus' meaning 'there is no more', first heard by British soldiers in France in the war of 1914-18. Rarely used these days.
