Luvvy

Luvvy is a modern British colloquialism that has been popular in the theatre world since the early 1980s and was originally used by camp, affected theatre people to refer to one another. More recently, it is used instead of aficionado to refer to like-minded people who share a love of theatre, opera, the arts etc.
