Jabberwocky

A Jabberwocky is a fantasy monster created by Lewis Carroll in a poem of nonsense verse called Jabberwocky which appears in Through the Looking Glass (1872). Jabberwocky is considered by many to be the finest nonsense poetry ever written in the English language. People see so many different meanings in the poetry that it hardly merits the description ‘nonsense verse’.
