IKEA

IKEA, the world famous international retailer founded in Sweden in 1943 is an acronym for Ingvar Kamprad Eimtaryd Aggunaryd. Ingvar Kamprad is the name of the founder and his family owned a farm called Eimtaryd near a village named Aggunaryd. The acronym IKEA is therefore the founder’s name, the family farm and the village where the founder grew up.
