Go the journey

A colloquial, sporting expression used in baseball or cricket when a pitcher gets hit for several home runs in baseball, or for several boundaries in cricket, the pitcher or bowler is said to 'go the journey' or 'to travel a long way'. Its usage dates from the early 21st century.
