Go big or go home

Origin of: Go big or go home

Go big or go home

An American catchphrase that means to make an all-out effort or none at all. The exact origin is not known but the sports of trick skiing and surfing have claimed it. Another theory is that it was a sales slogan for Harley Davidson parts in the 1990s. Not one of these claims has been conclusively proven. The expression is first cited from the early 1990s.
