Camptown Ladies

Famously, from the first line of Stephen Foster’s song Camptown Races published in 1850; but originally an ironic description for the womenfolk of the tent cities of migrant workers that grew up around many American cities during the early to mid-19th century, similar to today’s bag ladies.
