‘Abba’ is an ancient word that means father in Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic and is used as synonym for God in the Bible. The popular music group, Abba, is an acronym made up from the names of the people in the group, Agnetha Faltskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Givaeus, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
